FULL CIRCLE - gold refining program

After having too many conversations to count with customers not knowing what to do with the gold jewelry that they've inherited, been gifted, or simply outgrew, we've decided to introduce our first ever gold refining program where your post consumer gold will help lessen the impact of new mining by putting your gold back into circulation.

Here's how it works:

We'll send you a box and everything you need to securely package your gold jewelry! Once it's been received, we'll confirm with you and schedule a virtual call where we will unbox the contents together, test the gold, and weigh everything live. 

We will give you the 95% we get from our refiner (and we do not profit on this service) in the form of a gift card where you are welcome to use it on any item site-wide. Oh yeah, and our Holiday Sale starts on November 14th!

Secure Packaging and Shipping Instructions:

• Place each individual item in the small plastic bag
• Place each small plastic bag inside the manilla envelope
• Place all manilla envelopes inside the large plastic bag and seal it
• Place the large plastic bag inside the original box
• Seal all edges of the box with packing tape
• Purchase a label from FedEx, UPS, or USPS
• Insure your package at your discretion & require a signature for delivery with tracking
• Print & attach the label to the box

Gold Calculations:

We follow the standard formula when calculating gold

• First, we calculate the gold content in the standard alloy:
  • 18k = 72% gold content
  • 14k = 58% gold content
  • 10k = 41% gold content

• We then take the total weight of your gold and multiply it by the % gold karat
• Then, We take a look at the current day's spot pricing and convert it from Troy ounces to grams
• Finally, we take the sum of the gold per karat by the spot pricing in grams for the total gold value
• Lastly, we take. a5% refining fee off the total. This is what our refiner charges and we do not profit on it!

Rules of Engagement & Considerations:

• This program runs from 11/1-11/14
• We will only accept items that have a karat stamp
• We will remove any gemstones from your gold jewelry at no cost and will ship it back to you for a $20 shipping fee + insurance
• We waive liability for any damage done to gemstones and materials during removal
• We will acid test each gold item received, this may cause a small scuff or a file mark to the item as any plating or suspected plating will be removed from a small section
• You will have the opportunity to approve the offered value of your gold, if rejected, you are responsible for providing the return shipping label with insurance
• We aim to be fully transparent with you through this process, so please ask any questions!
• You are required to insure your package in order to ensure you are protected as we waive any liability for loss or damage
  
• Items must be shipped to us within 4 days of package delivery
• Our virtual call must be scheduled within 72 hours of delivery and held within one week of delivery, unless otherwise communicated
• If these time frames are not met, your unopened package will be returned to the address we have on file
• Custom and bespoke jewelry is not eligible with this offer
